Description
Features and Functions:
- The Additional Battery Unit is designed to meet the power needs of the vehicle. It is positioned to be activated in case of battery failure or when additional power is required for special tasks.
- It is designed to store and quickly transmit the electrical energy required for activation and control of the vehicle system.
- It is designed to provide the additional power needed by the system for at least 10 minutes.
- When the vehicle’s ignition is turned off, it continues to provide power for 3 hours.
- It has Operational and Maintenance modes. Switching between modes is accomplished via an easy-to-access selector switch.
Performance and Security:
- It has the ability to operate in the range of 16-32 VDC.
- The hardware is designed in accordance with specified military standards and ensures reliable operability in a variety of conditions.
- Safety measures include overcharge, overdischarge, overcurrent and short circuit protections.
- The ability to interrupt the flow of electricity is provided through a digital switch accessible only to authorized users.
