Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Create single-line and multi-wire electrical schematics; prepare and update cable lists, pinouts, connector tables and BOMs
- Design cable harnesses with military connectors (e.g. MIL-DTL-38999, MIL-C-5015, VG series); carry out terminations in line with labelling, heat-shrink and shielding rules
- Carry out field installation, cable routing planning and commissioning on vehicles, trailers, rack cabinets and containers
- Coordinate with production and procurement teams; support revision tracking and configuration management
- Contribute to design and verification activities in line with EMI/EMC and environmental requirements (e.g. MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-810)
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering
- Experience in wiring / harness design and field installation (preferably at least 1 year)
- Experience preparing schematics and documentation in EPLAN
- Proficiency with military connectors, crimping and termination tools
- Able to use test equipment such as multimeters and insulation / hipot testers effectively
- Able to travel, focused on solving problems in the field, a team player
- (Preferred) IPC/WHMA-A-620 knowledge / certification; knowledge of CAN-Bus / RS-485 cabling
- (For male candidates) military service status must be stated
