Overview
Product and Purpose
TDG-CAM-206 is a low-profile 1080P HD mini dome camera for in-vehicle and exterior monitoring. Its 170° super-wide lens sits beneath a clear dome cover and covers passenger and crew compartments, cargo areas and the vehicle surroundings from a single position.
The camera is designed for flush ceiling or body mounting, so it stays out of the way of crew and equipment. It offers a signal-to-noise ratio better than 52 dB with automatic AGC / BLC / WB, draws at most 110 mA at 12 VDC, is rated IP69K and withstands 5.9G vibration. It weighs about 0.2 kg and operates from −20 °C to +70 °C.

- Exterior surround views where a flush, low-profile camera is required
The TEDEG Advantage
TDG-CAM-206 runs on 12 VDC. On military vehicles with a 24 / 28 VDC electrical system, TEDEG supplies the cameras together with the SENTRA KBM Camera Power Distribution Module, which provides 11 galvanically isolated 12 VDC camera outputs from a MIL-STD-1275E 28 VDC input and carries the video lines on the same harness. Cameras, camera power and vehicle power distribution therefore come from a single supplier, with one point of contact for integration.
Connector type, cable length and mounting are matched to the platform during the project, and TEDEG's engineering team supports system integration and acceptance testing.
Corporate assurance: TEDEG Defence holds NATO supplier registration NCAGE TM885 and operates an ISO 9001 quality management system.

FAQ
How is TDG-CAM-206 mounted?+
It is designed for flush ceiling or body mounting with a low profile, so it does not protrude into the compartment.
How much of a compartment does it cover?+
The 170° super-wide lens under the clear dome cover covers a whole passenger, crew or cargo compartment from one position.
Does it have infrared night vision?+
No. TDG-CAM-206 has no infrared LEDs; its minimum illumination is 0.1 lux. For compartments that must be watched in darkness, the infrared dome camera TDG-CAM-202 is the better choice.
How is it powered on a 24 / 28 VDC vehicle?+
The camera draws at most 110 mA at 12 VDC. On 24 / 28 VDC vehicles it is powered through a 12 VDC camera supply such as the SENTRA KBM, which feeds up to 11 cameras from isolated outputs.
What environmental conditions is it rated for?+
IP69K water and dust protection, 5.9G vibration resistance and an operating range of −20 °C to +70 °C at up to 95% relative humidity.
