Approved by:
Senior Management
After-sales services for TEDEG Defence products are carried out under the TDG.SSH.PRO.01 After-Sales Services Procedure, the TDG.KON.PRO.01 Configuration Procedure and the TDG.KYS.PRO.21 Counterfeit Parts Prevention and Management Procedure. Unless otherwise agreed in the contract, the following terms apply.
1. Warranty period and coverage
The standard warranty period is 24 months from the delivery date of the product. An extended warranty (for example 36 months) can be offered by contract according to programme requirements.
Within the warranty period, non-conformities caused by design, manufacturing or material defects are remedied free of charge; the decision to repair or replace is made by TEDEG based on the fault analysis.
User error, unauthorised intervention or modification, physical damage sustained in the field, use outside the electrical and environmental limits stated in the datasheet, and consumables are excluded from the warranty.
A repaired or replaced product remains under warranty for the remainder of the original warranty period.
Where on-site intervention is required abroad, travel and accommodation costs are regulated separately in the contract.
2. Fault reporting and RMA process
1.Notification: A fault or revision request is submitted in writing together with the product part number (P/N), serial number and a description of the fault. The "Technical support / RMA" subject on the contact form or info@tedegcompany.com can be used.
2.Registration and response: The request is registered within 24 hours at the latest; the customer is given an RMA (return) number and the planned intervention method.
3.Intervention method: Remote intervention, on-site intervention or return of the product to our facility. Faults that cannot be resolved remotely or on site are returned together with the dispatch note and the fault report form.
4.Fault diagnosis: For products under warranty, diagnosis and repair are free of charge. For products outside the warranty, an estimated cost (materials and labour) is presented before repair; repair starts after customer approval, and a product whose repair is not approved is returned against the diagnosis fee.
5.Repair, test and return: Repaired products pass the same final inspection and functional tests as newly manufactured products; if hardware or software has changed, the configuration record is updated. The product is shipped with the test result form and the repair tracking record. The standard domestic repair target is 5 business days from the arrival of the product at our facility; deviations due to spare part lead times are communicated to the customer in advance.
3. Spare parts, maintenance and support period
For every product whose series production has ended, spare parts or a form-fit-function equivalent are supplied for 10 years from the end of series production.
A periodic maintenance table and a spare parts list are delivered with the product; field-replaceable modules, maintenance kits and spare fuses are stated in the product datasheet.
Technical support is provided by phone and e-mail on business days between 09:00 and 18:00 (GMT+3); 24/7 support and periodic maintenance services are defined by contract.
For our customers abroad, first-level support (diagnosis, module replacement, consumables) is provided by our authorised distributor; board-level repair and testing are carried out at TEDEG's facility in Ankara.
4. Delivery documentation
Every shipment is accompanied by a certificate of conformity (CoC) and a serial-numbered final inspection and functional test result form.
The user and maintenance manual, the assembly instruction and the connector/cable interface definitions (ICD) are part of the product delivery package.
The acceptance inspection and test procedure (ATP), test reports and MIL-STD test summaries are shared on request under a non-disclosure agreement.
Changes to the approved configuration are managed according to the MIL-STD-973 / ACMP classification. Class 1 changes that affect the product's interchangeability, performance, safety, interfaces or lifecycle cost are notified to the customer in writing (PCN) and submitted for approval; Class 2 changes such as document corrections and standard material changes do not require notification.
The supply status of critical components is monitored from the design stage onwards using the IEC 62402 and SD-22 (DMSMS) approach; manufacturers' NRND, LTB and EOL announcements are tracked and equivalent component options are kept in the bill of materials (BOM).
If a product is to be discontinued, customers receive a written EOL notice at least 12 months in advance and a last-time-buy (LTB) window of at least 6 months. Repair and spare parts support for discontinued products continues for the period stated in section 3.
The recommended successor product and migration notes are stated in the notification.
6. Product recall
A recall process is initiated where product safety, performance issues or legal requirements make it necessary. Affected customers are notified in writing of the reason for the recall, the risks, the actions required and how to return the product to TEDEG; the products are inspected, repaired, updated or replaced, and the process is reported.
All requests and records under this policy are retained for 10 years. Contract-specific warranty and support terms take precedence over the general terms in this policy.
