Overview
Product and Purpose
The PowerGuard Voltage Measurement Unit is a measurement module that monitors the voltage on every phase line of a multi-phase power system and sends the data over Ethernet to a central control system. A single board measures up to 21 phase inputs, with one common neutral for every three phase lines — 21 phases and 7 neutrals in total.
The unit runs on a 220 VAC supply. It measures across a 0–300 VAC range with ±1% accuracy, providing dependable data for power monitoring, phase imbalance detection and load management. Readings are sent to the user's system in real time through an RJ45 port, where a host computer or SCADA software can read, log and analyse them as they arrive.
Its compact form factor and simple connection layout make the unit easy to integrate into electrical panels, test set-ups and field installations. It has been designed for high stability and fast response.

Key features:
- High channel count: simultaneous voltage measurement across multiple lines in seven independent phase groups
- Easy wiring: screwless terminals speed up installation and are designed to eliminate the risk of connections working loose under vibration
- Straightforward integration: connects over Ethernet to existing control infrastructure such as SCADA, EMS and test systems
- Built-in protection: internal protection circuits for the 220 VAC supply
- Stable measurement: electronics optimised for long-term measurement stability
Ordering code (V-MSR-0XXYY):
| Digit | Meaning |
|---|---|
| First X | 0: with mechanical enclosure, 1: electronic board only |
| Second X (paint colour, enclosed version) | 0: Military green (Green 383, FED-STD-595B 34094), 1: Tan (Tan 686A, FED-STD-595B 33446), 2: Earth yellow (FED-STD-595B 33245) |
| YY | Number of input phases: 01–21 |
Typical Applications
- Power distribution panels: monitoring the voltage of every phase line in a multi-output panel from a single module
- Phase imbalance detection: seeing voltage differences between phase groups in real time
- Load management: feeding voltage data to the central control system to support load decisions
- SCADA and EMS integration: logging and analysing readings in existing monitoring software
- Test set-ups: simultaneous voltage monitoring on multi-channel test rigs
- Field installations: fitting inside a system as a compact board or as an enclosed unit
The TEDEG Advantage
The PowerGuard Voltage Measurement Unit brings 21 phase channels together on one compact board. Because readings are sent over Ethernet in real time, data can be monitored and logged centrally the moment it is measured. Screwless terminals speed up installation, and the 20–28 AWG wire range keeps cabling simple.
The unit can be ordered as an electronic board only or inside a mechanical enclosure. The enclosed version comes in military green, tan or earth yellow, and the number of phases can be specified anywhere from 1 to 21. For uninterrupted supply, see the PowerGuard MIL-UPS-2K3 and the other products in our Power Management & Protection category.
Corporate assurance: TEDEG Defence is an approved supplier of ASELSAN, Roketsan and the Turkish Ministry of National Defence (MSB), with NATO supplier registration under NCAGE: TM885.

FAQ
How many phase lines can the unit measure?+
A single unit measures up to 21 phase inputs. The phases are arranged in seven groups of three, each sharing a common neutral, giving 21 phase and 7 neutral inputs in total. The number of phases is set in the ordering code, from 01 to 21.
What are the measurement range and accuracy?+
The unit measures across 0–300 VAC at 50 / 60 Hz with ±1% accuracy. It measures voltage only; it does not measure current.
How is the data transferred?+
Readings are sent in real time through the Ethernet (RJ45) port. The communication protocol is fixed and configured at the factory. A host computer or SCADA software can read, log and analyse the data as it arrives.
Is it supplied enclosed or as a board only?+
Both options are available. In the ordering code, 0 means with a mechanical enclosure and 1 means electronic board only. Enclosed units can be ordered in military green (FED-STD-595B 34094), tan (FED-STD-595B 33446) or earth yellow (FED-STD-595B 33245).
What are the supply and operating conditions?+
The unit is powered from 220 VAC ±10% and typically draws less than 10 W. Its operating temperature range is −32 °C to +55 °C, and it measures 175 × 199 × 56 ± 5 mm.
