Overview
Product and Purpose
T-Light Searchlight (TDG-LX-10001) is a vehicle-mounted LED searchlight with adjustable intensity and direction, used to improve the operating capability of military vehicles. It serves lighting, signalling, target designation and surveillance, and moves on its own pan-tilt base through unlimited 360° horizontally and 135° vertically (optionally 360°).
The system is operated from a remote control box. The lighting mode is selected on the controller between the white and infrared light sources. The white source delivers 30 W at 6000 K with a luminous flux of 4,500 lm; the infrared source operates at 30 W on a 940 nm wavelength.
Infrared illumination uses a 940 nm wavelength that is invisible to the human eye. Combined with a night-vision camera, the IR light illuminates about 100 metres in front of the vehicle so that the scene appears as daylight on the screen while no light is visible from outside — preserving the secrecy of the operation.
This model takes its horizontal movement from its own base. For the version integrated into a weapon turret, which takes its horizontal movement from the turret, see the T-Light Turret page.

The TEDEG Advantage
T-Light Searchlight combines white and infrared light sources in one housing; the crew switches between visible lighting and covert IR illumination from the controller as the mission requires. Thanks to its own pan-tilt base it works independently of the vehicle turret, and the Ø 206.5 mm circular flange with a bracket adaptable to every vehicle simplifies installation on different platforms.
The 16–33 VDC input range covers the 24/28 VDC network of military vehicles, and the 4.6 kg system weight keeps the roof load low. The IP69K searchlight housing withstands dust and pressure wash-down, and the LDR sensor input allows automatic operation by ambient light.
For the turret-integrated searchlight that turns with the turret, see the T-Light Turret; for high-mast area lighting, the T-Light Mobile Lighting Tower; for other platform solutions, browse the Tactical Systems category.

FAQ
What is the difference between T-Light Searchlight and T-Light Turret?+
T-Light Searchlight turns through unlimited 360° on its own pan-tilt base, carries dual-mode white and infrared light sources, and mounts on the vehicle roof or a suitable interface with a bracket. T-Light Turret is integrated into the weapon turret: it takes its horizontal movement from the turret, moves only in the vertical axis with its own mechanism, and carries a white light source only.
What does the infrared mode do and what is its range?+
The infrared source operates on a 940 nm wavelength that is invisible to the human eye. Used with a night-vision camera, it illuminates about 100 metres in front of the vehicle so that the scene appears as daylight on the screen; because no light is visible from outside, the operation stays covert.
What are the white light figures?+
The white light source delivers 30 W, 6000 K colour temperature and 4,500 lm luminous flux, with an LED beam angle of 8°.
How is the searchlight controlled?+
Control is from an IP65 remote control box: 4-way movement buttons, white and infrared light ON / OFF buttons, projector ON / OFF button, power LED, BIT and error LED, and a home button. The home button returns the searchlight to its home position for continuous calibration. The control panel has a 100 × 49 mm front face and is 82.2 mm deep.
How is it mounted on the vehicle?+
The searchlight mounts via a Ø 206.5 mm circular base flange with 4 × Ø 6.9 mm holes; the mounting bracket can be adapted to the vehicle interface. The searchlight front view measures 203.5 × 283.5 mm and the system weighs 4.6 kg.
What does the LDR sensor input provide?+
The LDR (light-dependent resistor) sensor connection allows the searchlight to operate automatically according to ambient light; the sensor plugs into the system.
